Mario Balotelli scored his First Goal for Liverpool

A few days ago Mario Balotelli scored his first Premier League goal for Liverpool when they played against Tottenham Hotspur and this could be the spark that the Italian forward needed in order to kick-start his career at Anfield as he has not been able to live up to the €16 million fee that Liverpool had to pay in order to lure him away from Ac.Milan back in August of 2014.

Even if Balotelli does not manage to ignite his career in the way that Brendan Rodgers and the supporters of Liverpool are hoping, the manager already has a backup plan as Rodgers has been searching around in the market for potential new signings.

The winter transfer window is already closed which means that Rodgers will have to wait at least until the summer before he can add any new players to his team.

SaidoBerahino is a 21 year old forward who is currently performing with West Bromwich Albion but his relationship with the Premier League club will finish at the end of the current season as the English club has already stated that they will not be putting up with the conduct of the player any further after he was being investigated of alleged drink driving as well as going into an unauthorized interview with Sky Sports where Berahino stated that he is only playing in order to attract the interest of a bigger club.

This opens up the possibility of Brendan Rodgers on signing a promising player for the future as West Bromwich Albion are willing to let Berahino leave in the summer transfer window if they receive an offer of at least €20 million.
